At Enlace Solutions, our approach is people-centered. We make sure to keep human impact at the top of every translation and program design decision. Enlace makes sure to keep all materials culturally relevant, consumable, and accurate. With this approach, we have had the privilege of working with organizations doing fabulous work for their communities. These are just a few projects that showcase how Enlace helped those organizations , and how we might help yours:
LULAC National Education Service Center
Digital Navigators Program
Collaborated with LNESC staff to research, develop, and implement a program for high school parents to access affordable internet service, appropriate devices, and digital literacy training—a three-legged stool model for digital navigation that ensured parents were connected to the internet, had appropriate devices, and were taught how to utilize the devices and the www.
Enlace and LNESC targeted zip codes deeply impacted by COVID-19, and the objective was to guide heads of households through the digitization of work and school.
Of course, all outreach/marketing, curriculum, and communications with program participants were in both English and Spanish.
The Concilio
Parents Advocating for Student Excellence (PASE)
The Concilio is one of the largest nonprofit organizations serving Latino families in the DFW area since 1981. In their own words, Their PASE program "equips families with the knowledge and tools to achieve academic success, and ultimately help their children go on to college or other higher education. Parents learn about the public-school system, communicating with teachers and counselors and promoting learning at home."
Having culturally responsive curriculum is central ot the mission and objectives of The Concilio. Thus, Enlace Solutions was tasked with not only translating the curriculum, but with keeping the integrity of the research and other proprietary features of the PASE curriculum and transferring that to the Spanish version,always keeping in mind the cultural context within which the Concilio operates.

Education Opens Doors
Education Opens Doors is a multi-state nonprofit organization working to see that all students have the opportunity to pursue their limitless potential after high school . Their online "Parent University" program allows parents and other caratakers to learn to navigate the school system, covering topics that include time management, identifying high school options, and discovering options for financial aid to pay for college.
Fully understanding that the objective of the program is to level the playing field with information for first-generation college students to-be, Enlace Solutions was able to vernacularize all the information from English to a contextually approriate Spanish through text, images, videos, and voiceovers.
